About Zero Waste San Diego
Zero Waste San Diego creates and manages zero waste programs and events, advocates for resource management policy, and helps people live more sustainably. Their work starts with a simple idea: what we throw away is a resource, and how we treat it matters. Through education and action, they help the San Diego community reduce waste, conserve resources, and cut the greenhouse gas emissions that come from our discards.

Important Details

• Grown-ups participate: FAM Studio is designed for kids and their grown-ups to create together! Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver throughout the program.

• Who it’s for: All ages are welcome, but most activities are best suited for kids 4 and up.

• Younger siblings welcome: Kids under 4 are welcome, too! Our toddler zone has relaxed coloring and play, so everyone has a place to settle in.

• Registration and last entry: FAM Studio is free with Museum admission and always free for members. Because space is limited, registration is required at the Welcome Desk. Last entry is at 11:15 am, so your family has plenty of time to enjoy every station.

• Questions? Visit our Artopia FAQs, or see our Museum visit page for parking, hours, and general Museum information.
