Get ready to bring your creations to life in “Creations in Motion”—a dynamic 90-minute workshop where kids ages 8-10 will design and build their own moving cardboard automata! Using simple materials like cardboard, paper, and basic mechanisms, participants will discover how to make moving parts through the magic of gears, levers, and cranks. With guidance from teaching artists, they’ll explore fundamental engineering and design principles while unleashing their creativity. Perfect for kids who love hands-on projects and want to see their ideas come to life with a fun, mechanical twist!
