Spend a creative morning working with clay alongside your child in this caregiver-and-child ceramics workshop. Designed for young artists ages 5–7 and their grown-ups, this hands-on experience invites families to explore clay through playful, guided activities led by Museum teaching artists.
Participants will experiment with foundational hand building techniques such as pinching, coiling, rolling, and sculpting to create imaginative, one-of-a-kind clay pieces together. The focus is on process, collaboration, and shared discovery in a welcoming studio environment.
No prior experience is required. All materials are included. Instructors will advise at the end of the session if finished pieces are suitable for glazing and firing, with next steps shared onsite.
Workshops are intentionally small to support meaningful engagement. Advance registration is recommended, and space is limited.
