Explore the art of printmaking in “Printmaking on the Go: Design and Print Your Own Tote Bag!”—a creative workshop for youth ages 11-13! In this 90-minute hands-on experience, participants will learn the art of linocut printmaking as they carve their own designs into linoleum blocks using carving tools and ink. They’ll create unique images, patterns, or illustrations and transfer them onto a tote bag, transforming their artwork into a functional and stylish accessory. This workshop not only teaches the fundamentals of printmaking but also sparks creativity, encourages design thinking, and provides a deeper understanding of the printing process. Perfect for young artists eager to explore new mediums and make something both personal and practical!
