An Immersive Exhibition by Saya Woolfalk 

In June 2026, The New Children’s Museum will open WOODSWOMAN: Earthseed, a newly commissioned immersive installation by internationally acclaimed artist Saya Woolfalk. 

Created specifically for NCM, this richly layered environment blends science fiction, ecology, and speculative futures to invite children and families into a world shaped by imagination, empathy, and connection. 

Designed to live at the Museum for three years, the exhibition will engage an estimated 750,000 children and families. It is not a single-visit experience. Families return, discovering new meanings as children grow.
